Wandering Rose

Every character in an MMORPG deserves a biography.  What follows is the early history of Wandering Rose, the second character in Eve Online that Lives Of Roses will chronicle.

The records of Wandering Rose's early life are sketchy at best as she spent her life wandering among the less traveled areas of New Eden.  Wandering Rose is a Drifter from the Vherokior tribe, one of those filled with wanderlust who cannot stay in one area for too long.  The first reliable records concerning Wandering Rose come from when she was first made a capsuleer and enrolled in the Republic University.  Testimony from classmates at the time indicates that she was less than happy about her new found status as an immortal because of the constant tracking of her by CONCORD that came along with being a capsuleer.  She never talked about why she became a pod pilot, although rumor maintains she became caught up in the affairs of the Vherokior mystics.

Wandering Rose was also unhappy with the Gallente-style education she was receiving and left Republic University for a position in eternal empire. in late November YC111.  Her stay in eternal empire. was very brief.  Shortly after joining, the corporation leadership announced that anyone losing a ship was subject to a fine and possible expulsion from the corporation.  Suspecting the competence, if not sanity, of the CEO was not exactly top-notch, Wandering Rose prepared to leave the corp while contacting the CEO for clarification on the rule.  "Does the rule apply if I am suicide-ganked while flying my Retriever?" she asked.  He replied that the corporation would teach her how to make her Retriever ungankable.  Having watched the havoc of Hulkageddon the previous month and with rumors of Hulkageddon II looming over the event horizon, she shook her head and completed the withdrawal process.

Convinced she could do much better as a CEO, Wandering Rose joined Native Freshfood, the Vherokior tribes' partner corporation, and began the planning for her own corp.  During the many long mining ops she worked to finance her new corp, she studied the many classes Eve University makes available though GalNet.  In addition, she obtained more knowledge from her brother Rosewalker who was attending Eve University and could ask questions of the instructors.  Once she built up the adequate start-up capital, processing skill and beginning collection of blue prints for manufacturing, Wandering Rose received the approval of the clan matriarch to create the Khumaak Flying Circus.

As of the time of this post, Wandering Rose and Khumaak Flying Circus are operating in the Meinigefur constellation.  But with her wanderlust, she and her corporation could appear anywhere within New Eden.
