Sangrerose: A Blood-Elf Priest

In every MMO I've ever played except for Eve, bag space is always an issue.  So who makes bags in World of Warcraft?  Tailors.  So Sangrerose was born Saturday night.  Sangrerose is a blood-elf priest (sangre is Spanish for blood) who will be a tailor and enchanter.  From what I understand, enchanting and tailoring go well together.  Add in the +10 bonus blood-elves get for enchanting and the combination seems to be a natural.

Rosilind: A Blood-Elf Hunter

I did something I thought I would never do again.  I re-subscribed to World of Warcraft.  Why?  Because Brenlo did such a fine job of running things with EverQuest 2 before he was fired that returning right now just isn't attractive.  And I'm not even referring to the whole "rangers are fine" attitude the developers have.  I gave up on that aspect of the game when the EQ2 devs fixed the rangers' mythical bow by nerfing all level 1-70 bows.

So off to Azeroth I went.  I chose to create a blood-elf hunter named Rosilind.  Yes, I am playing another ranged class in a race in which I think the female characters look tougher than the male characters.  But the last time I played WoW I played on the Alliance side so this time I'm playing Horde.  That perhaps was not a wise choice since I'm playing on Darrowmere and I understand that realm is dominated by the Alliance.  We'll see.

Another Industrial Ship

Wandering Rose is close to being able to fly a Prowler.  Actually, the big thing in her way is the cost, not only of properly equipping the ship but learning the skill (30 million isk) as well.  So while she and Rosewalker continue to run missions to get the money (along with much needed faction with Core Complexion), the news that ORE is releasing a new ship, the Primae, is welcome news.  I love the way it looks.  I can't wait to see the specs.

Khumaak Flying Circus

From the journal of Wandering Rose:

I decided to name my corporation the Khumaak Flying Circus in honor of Drupar Maak, the slave who killed Arkon Ardishapur, the royal heir to the Ardishapur family, on Starkman Prime and began the great slave rebellion that eventually led to the formation of the Minmatar Republic.  Drupar, who served as Arkon’s personal secretary, killed the Amarrian royal heir with his own ceremonial scepter, called a Khuumak, when Arkon was on the verge of discovering that Drupar was a ringleader of a planned revolt.  In honor of Drupar, the slaves began arming themselves with imitation khuumaks, calling them khumaaks.  It is the makeshift weapon of the slaves, not the sacred symbol of their Amarrian masters, which the guild is named after.

Some Good Advice

I think if I travel to Genesis I will make sure to accept any fleet invitations and to fill out all of the paperwork.

On second thought, maybe I won't accept the invite.  That would make it easier for the person with the forms to deliver them to me and I hate paperwork.
